Tonight the MTC devotional speaker was Elder Russell M Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles! His wife Wendy spoke first and bore a powerful testimony. Elder Nelson taught nine aspects of The Doctrine. It was very good. He teaches in such a kind way. He joked that he was once introduced as a member of the 1st quorum of the 12 apostles - but didn't think he was as old as Peter, James, and John! He bore testimony and pronounced an apostolic blessing on those in attendance. It was neat to be there. We felt good, realizing we already knew the doctrine of Christ. That is a comfort as we head to Muncie. Our mission president called today and is excited we will be there on Monday.
