Today we were in small groups of four couples (our district) with one returned missionary instructor in the morning and another in the afternoon. We practiced teaching lesson 1 from Preach My Gospel. We also practiced inviting investigators (our companion) to pray, read the Book of Mormon, attend church, and be baptized. At lunch we sat next to and visited with four young missionaries that had just barely arrived at the MTC. One sister was from Australia (called to serve is Paris). She is the only member in her family and has been a member for only one year. Another sister was from England, going to Bulgaria. A sister and an elder, both from Guatemala, will be heading to Paris and San Jose, California. Brenda sang in the choir at the devotional this evening. The speaker was Elder Larry Gibbons, a member of the Seventy. He taught us how to work with members in finding and teaching.
