Today was the ground breaking for the Indianapolis Indiana Temple. The YSA branch had a breakfast before the ground-breaking ceremony and then watched it by broadcast at the church. Stake presidencies (nine stakes) and bishops had tickets to attend the ceremony at the site. The rest of the members watched it at church buildings. General authorities present at the ground breaking were: Donald Hallstrom of the presidency of the seventy and Gregory Schwitzer of the second quorum of the seventy. I survived teaching four lessons this week without Sister Mumford. I am glad that she will be back for next week. Our new granddaughter is gaining weight and doing well. We had some new students and some new non-members attend institute classes. The students are still hanging out at the Institute building and playing table tennis or board games. Word on the Street or Dominion seem to be the most popular. They also played scum after family home evening. On Friday evening there was a movie night at the Institute. The young single adults watched 17 Miracles and had lots of popcorn and some left-over cake. Only one investigator came to the movie, but she enjoyed it and had questions later for the missionaries.
